Konichiwa minna-san! ^_^ I know, I know, it's been ages since I last posted. But I have been very busy with "real world" stuff. Some good news though, I am back to working on the site. And I think I may have found a way to get the image galleries back up and running. (as you recall I had to take them down because the server I'm on won't allow galleries) Sadly, pop-ups will be remaining on the site for now. It sucks, but I have no money to pay for an ad-free site and the current server is the best among the free servers out there. Also I am re-coding the site. (yes again) See, I ran into some problems with the current format, so after all the years of having this site I'm finally putting up frames. The good news is you won't see them, since they won't have visable borders. There was a time (when the site was first made) that frames had a lot of problems and a lot of people didn't like them or couldn't view them. So to make things easier for my visitors I made sure my site had no frames. But times have changed and now pretty much all browsers work with frames and if they are used properly they can really be a great asset to a site. Adding frames will also make the site eaiser to navigate. It will also help people with smaller screen sizes view the site better, since the frames re-size a lot better then the method I used before (which was just CSS). Anyway, the site itself has not been updated because I'm waiting to load the new version. But I wanted to make sure I posted here so no one thinks the site is dead or anything. Konichiwa minna-san! ^_^ Sorry for the long silence. (I always seem to be saying that) I'm visiting my grandmother and aunt in Florida right now, so clearly there are no updates to the site. Hopefully there will be when I get back (at the end of June). Also I will be doing my best to get to Anthrocon this year, as some people have said they will lynch me if I don't go. (you know who you are) Umm... other then that just letting you know I'm alive and in the sweltering heat down here, I look forward to going back to Ohio soon where we have normal summers. Konichiwa minna-san! Sorry for the long delay in getting the re-vamp up. Life happened. I got a temporary job and I my parents needed extra help and things like that. But now the re-vamp is done and Anime Eternal is new and better. Now like I said before, the Image Galleries and Series Summaries are down, and they will be for some time. I am re-codng them, adding to them, and looking for a new server for them (my current web host does not allow galleries). In the mean time I am also gathering more fanart, actually a friend is giving me some more later today. It sould be scanned, coded and uploaded in a few days. I am looking for more fanfics and media as well, so if anyone has anything they want hosted, let me know. Well, I gotta get back to work. I hope you enjoy the new version of the site! Konichiwa minna-san! ^_^ Sorry again for the silence, the holidays were more busy then usual and then I got sick, so I haven't been online in a while. The good news is that Anime Eternal is almost ready to be re-launched. I just need to finish coding the newer fanart pages. Now when I re-launch the site the Image Galleries and Series Summaries will be down. This is bacuse I wanted to get the new version of the site up as soon as I could and not keep people waiting. The Galleries will take a bit of extra work to re-code. I am doing something a bit different with them, and I am adding *several* new galleries, so it may take a while to finish. So that is why I am going to put everything else up and take the galleries down. (the summeries go down because its silly to have summeries for series you have no images for) Since they will be down and I will be working on them this would be a good time for people to send me any images or summeries they want added. I will post here again when I actually put the new version of Anime Eternal up. Hopefully it will be in the next few days. Let me know if you have any suggestions or anything to contribute. Hello and Merry Christmas! You know me, no matter how behind I am in journal updates I would never miss saying hello on Christmas Day. I hope you are all having fun. Things are busy as usual but I wouldn't have it any other way. This is my favorite holiday because I get to see all my relatives I don't get to see the rest of the year. And its fun! Well I gotta go, I'll probably update this again in a few days with all the new things I got and how some of the will effect my online life.
